Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park – Kid friendly!!!!! A stunning blend of botanical gardens, indoor conservatory, and globally recognized sculptures featuring Keith Haring and da Vinci’s Horse plus a serene Japanese garden. A full-day delight.
Grand Rapids Public Museum – Also kid friendly. History, science, and culture wrapped into interactive exhibits (think giant whale skeleton and a planetarium).
Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum – Dive into presidential history and the legacy of Michigan’s own 38th President.
Grand Rapids Art Museum (GRAM) – A sophisticated downtown art venue featuring rotating exhibitions and creative workshops.

Little Bird – Our favorite breakfast and brunch spot. Classic, cozy, and personal favorites always win. Check the hours, they can be goofy.
Early Bird - Similar to above, slightly more casual, and in a great part of the city (Eastown) (good for lunch, too)
Wolfgang’s Restaurant – Known for Belgian waffles, stuffed French toast, and a relaxed retro vibe.
Lucy’s Cafe – A local favorite for hearty bites with a bit of polish, and friendly service.
Westsider Cafe – A hidden gem offering Polish and Cuban breakfast dishes with homestyle charm.
Lunch
San Chez Bistro – Tapas-style lunch in a vibrant, cozy setting, full of flavor.
Two Beards Deli – Great sandwiches downtown - which beard will you choose?
